Palace v Swansea: The Programme

22 September 2013

Capital One Cup-holders Swansea City are the visitors to Selhurst Park this afternoon – and we’ll have all the essential build-up to the match in today’s edition of the Palace programme.

New boy Adrian Mariappa is the subject of our main interview this week, as he discusses a whirlwind transfer deadline day, his impressive debut at Old Trafford last week and looks ahead to a home bow in SE25 this afternoon.

Former Eagles striker Mark Bright has his say on that defeat to Manchester United in his regular column, Mark My Words, highlighting the issue of diving following Ashley Young’s booking for simulation.

Palace fans Kevin Day and Alex Warner also reflect on the 2-0 loss against the champions, while club historian Ian King takes a look at some of the players who have represented both Palace and Swansea down the years, in ‘Foot In Both Camps’.

We also speak to Norwegian international Jonny Parr, who gives us the latest on his road to recovery after playing 60 minutes of the friendly against Oman, while Mile Jedinak talks us through his Dream XI.

Meanwhile, head groundsman Mark Perrin reveals the challenges of keeping the Selhurst Park pitch in top condition, in the latest instalment of ‘Meet The Selhurst Staff’, and veteran striker Kevin Phillips takes a trip down memory lane to reveal his Footballing Firsts.

Ahead of the game, you can also scan the QR code on the back of the programme for an extensive match preview and team news, and again after the final whistle for a full match report.

All this and a whole lot more is available in our 80-page perfect-bound publication from sellers around Selhurst Park and is priced at just £3.50.
