Team News: Bannan Starts Against The Hammers

23 August 2014

Barry Bannan starts for Crystal Palace this afternoon against West Ham United in place of the suspended Jason Puncheon.

The Scotland international's inclusion is one of two changes made by caretaker boss Keith Millen, with the other swap seeing Damien Delaney replace the injured Scott Dann at the heart of the Eagles defence.

There's also a change in the Hammers' centre-back pairing, with James Tomkins starting his first game of the season in place of the suspended James Collins.

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Kelly, Hangeland, Delaney, Ward, Bannan, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Chamakh, Campbell.

Crystal Palace subs: Hennessey, Mariappa, McCarthy, O'Keefe, Jonny Williams, Murray, Gayle.

West Ham: Adrian, O'Brien, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell, Downing, Kouyate, Noble, Vaz Te, Zarate, Cole.

West Ham subs: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Morrison, Diame, Poyet, Sakho, Valencia.
