Team News: Mariappa And Delaney Return

Jason Puncheon retains his place in the first 11 against his former club. Puncheon who spent four seasons with the Saints keeps winger Wilfried Zaha out of the side and settling for a place on the bench.

Both Adrian Mariappa and Damien Delaney have returned to the Crystal Palace line-up for this afternoon’s clash with Southampton at Selhurst Park. The defensive duo have taken the places of Brede Hangeland and Martin Kelly after recovering from spells out with injuries.


The visitors have made three changes to their side following their 3-0 victory against Everton last time out. The Saints are without suspended skipper and former Palace player Jose Fonte who has been replaced by Florin Gardos.


Ronald Koeman has brought in Sadio Mane and Morgan Schneiderlin to replace Shane Long and Harrison Reed who drop to the bench.
