Palace v West Brom: The Programme

8 February 2014

Crystal Palace entertain West Bromwich Albion in a crucial match at the bottom of the Barclays Premier League today with a host of new Eagles hoping to make their mark in red and blue this afternoon – and we feature two of Tony Pulis’ new signings in today’s Palace Programme.

Cover star Tom Ince talks in detail about his move to Selhurst Park, revealing that the Eagles were the only club he wanted to play for once he had met with Pulis and co-chairman Steve Parish.

Parish himself has his say on what was a hectic deadline day in our regular From the Boardroom feature, while club captain Paddy McCarthy is the subject of our second interview, as he recalls the lengths he went to in his road to recovery from injury.

The second new boy to be featured in our award-winning matchday publication this afternoon is Joe Ledley, as he talks us through his Dream XI based on his time with Cardiff City, Celtic and the Welsh national side.

We also get Dean Moxey’s Footballing Firsts, while regular columnists Kevin Day and Alex Warner give us their opinions on the signings made during the January transfer window.

The Daily Mirror’s chief football writer Martin Lipton is our guest writer in this week’s edition of From the Press Box, as he discusses the huge influence Pulis and his new signings could have in Palace’s relegation run-in.

Meanwhile, Mark Bright returns with the latest instalment of his regular column, as he tells the story of his encounter with a 10-year-old Tom Ince.

With all this and plenty more besides to look forward to in today’s Palace Programme, make sure you pick up your copy today for just £3.50!
