Team News: Murray Starts v Man United

22 February 2014

Glenn Murray is back in the starting line-up for Crystal Palace this afternoon as the Eagles take on Manchester United.

Last season's 31-goal top scorer has been named in the XI for the first time since injuring his anterior cruciate ligament in the play-off semi-final first leg draw with Brighton and Hove Albion, back in May 2013.

Murray will start up front alongside Marouane Chamakh in an attack-minded Palace line-up, which also sees Joe Ledley, Tom Ince and Jason Puncheon selected in midfield alongside captain Mile Jedinak.

Manchester United pick virtually a full strength side, despite the prospect of a Champions League last-16 tie with Olympiakos on Tuesday.

Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie all start for the visitors.

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Parr, Puncheon, Jedinak, Ledley, Ince, Chamakh, Murray.

Crystal Palace subs: Hennessey, Gabbidon, Dikgacoi, Bannan, Bolasie, Gayle, Jerome.

Manchester United: De Gea, Smalling, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Fellaini, Carrick, Januzaj, Mata, Rooney, van Persie.

Manchester United subs: Lindegaard, Valencia, Fletcher, Giggs, Kagawa, Young, Hernandez.
