Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss has joined Luton Town on an initial one-month youth loan, with a view to an extension.
Inniss, who has featured regularly for Palace’s development side this season and was named among the substitutes for our Premier League game at Liverpool back in October, is expected to go straight into the Hatters’ side for their FA Trophy clash with Cambridge United on Saturday.
And 18-year-old Inniss will also be hoping to help the club back into the Football League for the first time since their relegation from League Two in 2009. Luton currently lead the way at the top of the Skrill Premier, five points clear of Cambridge.
Centre back Inniss previously spent time on loan at Cheltenham Town at the start of the season, but had his spell there cut short after picking up an injury.
The former England under-17 international is the latest Palace youngster to go out on loan, after the likes of Alex Wynter, Jerome Williams, Derek Tieku, Ross Fitzsimons and David Gregory all secured temporary moves to aid their development earlier this month.
