Crystal Palace are delighted to announce that midfielder Jonathan Williams has put pen to paper on a new deal at the club, keeping him at Selhurst Park until the summer of 2018.
The academy graduate has made 64 appearances for the Eagles since making his debut in a League Cup victory against Coventry City in 2011, and has gone on to win four caps for Wales after making his international bow in March last year.
This season has seen the 20-year-old feature nine times in the Premier League, as he continues his footballing education and his continued development has been rewarded with an extended deal.
Speaking to the Palace Programme after signing his new long-term contract, Williams said: "I’m very proud to be playing for Palace and to be signing another contract. It's something I always dreamed of as a kid and to be signing another four-and-a-half year deal here is just a great feeling.
“I've been here since I was eight and I think this is the third professional contract I’ve signed at Palace. I still remember the feeling when I got my first one when I was 17 – it's just a great feeling. It's a great honour to play for Palace and now we're in the Premier League it can't get much better than that."
