Eagles Squad Visit The Rocky Steps

25 July 2014

Despite only having two days in Philadelphia, Tony Pulis ensured that his squad sampled some of the City Of Brotherly Love's culture by taking them to the world famous Rocky Steps.

The steps in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art were made famous by Sylvester Stallone's character in the legendary boxing films, and the Eagles squad climbed all 72 of them to enjoy a great focal point of the city.

Many of the players took the opportunity to take photographs of themselves mimicking Rocky's celebratory pose at the top as they relaxed after swapping Columbus for Philli on Thursday afternoon.

As well as that, the players and management also took in the Liberty Bell, another famous tourist attraction in the city as it is an iconic symbol of American independence, as part of a whistlestop tour of the city ahead of tonight's game against Philadelphia Union.

They then head to Richmond on Saturday morning to complete the third leg of their Stateside tour which will involve them taking on the Richmond Kickers.
