The Crystal Palace squad have completed their final full day of training at their Austrian base.
Manager Tony Pulis stretched his team to their absolute limits again today with three separate sessions, the first of which started at 6am – just as the case has been every day since the team arrived in Graz on Thursday.
The gaffer did however spare his troops the 5.30am bike ride to TSV Pollau’s Sparkasse Stadion – where the squad have been training all week – with the team coach instead dropping the players off ahead of the 6am fitness session.
Following a high-intensity 90-minute workout, the Eagles returned to the hotel to stretch out in the outdoor pool, before enjoying a rest back in their rooms.
Midday saw the squad report for their second session of the day, featuring further stretches and core-work, ahead of a hard-earned lunch.
But by 5pm the players were back in action again, this time cycling the 2.5km trip to the training pitches, where they undertook a number of drills involving shape and shooting, as well as a host of five-a-side matches.
The squad then got back on their bikes to complete the gruelling return journey up the hills to their hotel, just in time for dinner at 8pm local time.
The players will be given a rare lie in tomorrow morning, with one training session scheduled for 10am, ahead of their first pre-season friendly of the summer against GAK Graz, at 7pm local time (6pm BST).
