Getting There

By coach:

Price £38.50
Departs from Selhurst Park at 6.45am

By car:
For the last stretch use the A1(M) and turn off onto the A1. Follow the A1 until you turn off onto the A184. Follow this road bearing left onto the A189 and continue over the River Tyne on the Redheugh Bridge. Go over the roundabout onto Blenheim Street and follow until you reach Bath Lane. Turn left into Bath Lane, right into Corporation Street, and left at the roundabout into Gallowgate. The ground is straight ahead.

Parking:
Due to the stadium's location in the heart of the city centre, Newcastle United use two park and ride schemes to get to the ground. These currently operate from Newcastle Great Park (just to the west of the A1), while there is also a 'Soccerbus' that operates from Metro Centre.
With tickets on sale on the buses for £2 return, this offers a great way to avoid the hassle of finding (and paying for) a parking spot in the city centre. There is no need to book, simply turn up on the day and buy your ticket. Both park and rides are operational from around three hours before the game and three hours afterwards to make your journey as flexible as possible.

By train:
The quickest route to the stadium by rail is by getting a train from London King's Cross to Newcastle Central, which is located half a mile from St James' Park. Metro trains leave every three to four minutes to St James' Station.

Did You Know...
Newcastle's sponsors Wonga.com reverted the name of the stadium back to St James' Park from the Sports Direct Arena earlier this year, after purchasing the naming rights to the stadium.
