Pre-Season Fixtures For Under-21s Confirmed

23 June 2014

Palace's development side have announced pre-season friendlies against Beckenham Town, Havant and Waterlooville, Dulwich Hamlet and Forest Green Rovers ahead of their 2014/15 league campaign.

Aiming to continue their fine form at the back end of last season which saw them narrowly miss out on a play-off spot, Gary Issott's youngsters will firstly make the short trip to Beckenham Town on 18th July in a 7.30pm kick-off.

They then travel to Hampshire on 25th July to take on Havant who currently ply their trade in the Conference South. The Hawks are currently managed by former Eagle Lee Bradbury and agonisingly missed out on a spot in the play-offs last season by goal difference with a sixth-placed finish.

Four days later the under-21s take on Isthmian League Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet, who also finished sixth last season. This has become a regular fixture for both sides in recent summers, with Palace running out 4-1 winners last season thanks to a brace from Elliot Grandin plus strikes from Jerome Williams and Yannick Bolasie.

That fixture is followed by a visit to Forest Green Rovers, whom Williams spent time on loan at last campaign. The Gloucestershire club went on to finish 10th in the Conference Premier, where they have spent the last 16 seasons.

Ticket information for these game will be announced in due course.
