Crystal Palace development stars Sullay Kaikai and Hiram Boateng have had their loan deals at Crawley Town extended by a month.
The duo joined the League One side on temporary contracts at the start of February on deals that were set to expire this weekend.
But the Eagles have now agreed to let the youngsters stay at the Checkatrade.com Stadium until 5th April 2014.
The weather has blighted Crawley's fixture list since the turn of the year, meaning the duo have only clocked up a total of three appearances between them for the Red Devils so far.
Kaikai (pictured above) made his debut in a 1-1 draw at Swindon last month, before playing 45 minutes in the 1-0 victory over Peterborough United last weekend, while Boateng made his debut in the midweek draw against Stevenage.
Crawley currently lie 14th in League One, but have four games in hand on many of their rivals - meaning they still have a very realistic chance of sneaking into the play-off places.
Town manager John Gregory believes their temporary spells as part of his side will help their overall development.
He told Crawley Town's website: “Both Hiram and Sullay both now appreciate what it’s all about. When they go back out next time they’ll have a totally different picture about what it’s all about.
“It’s not like academy football, but when you’ve done something for two years in the same manner and suddenly you have to change it is a bit of a shock. But they will be fine and will be a little bit more prepared next time.”
