Delaney Back Against United

8 November 2014

Damien Delaney has returned to the Palace line-up for this afternoon's game against Manchester United.

The centre-back missed the defeat to Sunderland on Monday night through illness, but has replaced Brede Hangeland at the heart of the Eagles' defence.

Scott Dann pulls on the captain's armband in place of the suspended Mile Jedinak, whose spot in midfield has gone to James McArthur.

Jason Puncheon also comes back into the side for Wilfried Zaha who is ineligible against his parent club, and Adrian Mariappa is chosen ahead of Martin Kelly.

Louis van Gaal has made two changes to his side that lost 1-0 to Manchester City last week.

Paddy McNair has come in for the suspended Chris Smalling, and injury-victim Marcos Rojo is replaced by Michael Carrick.
