For this afternoon’s game against Swansea City Neil Warnock has made one change to the side that beat Liverpool last weekend with Brede Hangeland coming in for Damien Delaney.
The Republic of Ireland international limped off against the Reds with a calf injury and was replaced by the Norwegian defender, and with Delaney unable to recover in time the former Fulham defender fills in once again at centre-back.
Meanwhile on the bench Jerome Thomas could be in line for his first league outing since March, when he played in the Palace's 1-0 defeat to Southampton.
For the hosts Garry Monk has made two changes as ex-Eagle Wayne Routledge returns from injury for a spot in the starting line-up as well as Jonjo Shelvey.
The duo replace birthday boy Nathan Dyer and Tom Carroll with the former omitted from the matchday squad.
