The successful candidate from last summer's 'Play For Palace' initiative with Mumbai City FC, Dhruvmil Pandya, arrived in south London this week to meet with players and staff, having impressed the Eagles representatives that flew to India.
During his time in the capital so far, 15-year-old Dhruvmil has enjoyed seeing the sights of London, trained with the Crystal Palace academy and attended classes with the young players and met the first team stars and staff.
Mark Bright gave Dhruvmil a tour of Selhurst Park stadium, showing him behind the scenes at the home of the Eagles, and he watched the first team squad train on the pitch on Friday morning, before Saturday's visit from West Bromwich Albion.
He had the chance to meet the likes of Jason Puncheon, Julian Speroni, Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie, as well as manager Alan Pardew.
Dhruvmil will take part in an academy match on Saturday morning against Millwall, before traveling back to SE25 to watch the first team take on the Baggies as guest of honour. He will also be introduced to the Selhurst Park faithful at half-time.
