Young forward Sullay Kaikai stole the show in Cambridge United's 3-1 win at home to Mansfield Town on Saturday, netting a brace and claiming the Man of the Match award for his efforts.
Kaikai's first goal came after just three minutes, when his 40 yard free-kick broke the deadlock in the opening stages. He added a second with his left foot, from the edge of the box, on 43 minutes, as the U's cruised to victory at Abbey Stadium.
Adlene Guedioura put in yet another good display on loan at Watford, as the Hornets recorded a 1-0 home victory over Birmingham City at the weekend.
The Algeria international posed a threat for the home side at Vicarage Road, with his directness and creativity, causing the visitors problems during his appearance. Jonathan Williams, who had been chasing promotion on loan at Ipswich Town, has suffered opposed fortunes to Guedioura, sustaining a groin injury that has ended his spell with the Tractor Boys. He was an unused substitute, along with Ezekiel Fryers, in the draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, prior to his injury. Williams returned to Palace this week to undergo scans on the injury, as the club now seeks a diagnosis and subsequent solution.
Lewis Price was an unused substitute in Crawley Town's 2-0 win at home to Notts County, whilst Peter Ramage did not feature for Barnsley against Peterborough United - a game they drew 1-1.
Jerome Binnom-Williams was an unused substitute in Southend United's back-to-back away wins over Exeter City and Bury this week, whilst Stephen Dobbie played no part in Fleetwood Town's goalless draw with Doncaster Rovers.
