Former Palace greats Clinton Morrison and Aki Riihilahti have been named as the first players to line up for the Eagles in Julian Speroni's testimonial match on Tuesday 26th May.
The striker and midfielder were announced at Speroni's press conference at Selhurst Park this afternoon and will take on the Argentine's former club Dundee in the 8.00pm kick off.
Morrison scored 113 goals for the Red and Blue Army, during two separate spells with the club, having risen through the Academy ranks in the mid to late 1990s. Riihilahti, meanwhile, spent five successful years with the Eagles, from the early 2000s, helping the club to win promotion to the Premier League and featuring heavily in the season in the top flight.
Both players, along with Speroni himself, are massive fan favourites in SE25 and will be sure to give their all for the testimonial match in late May, having been given one last chance to play in front of the loyal support of Selhurst Park.
Currently, Morrison is playing as a striker for Exeter City, whilst Riihilahti is the Chief Executive of HJK Helsinki in his homeland Finland.
