Alan Pardew has made one change to the Palace side that beat Aston Villa last weekend for today’s game at Chelsea, with Connor Wickham coming into the side in place of Glenn Murray.
The summer signing missed the Villans victory through injury but returns up front for the Eagles, with Wilfried Zaha also named in the starting line-up despite playing all 120 minutes against Shrewsbury Town in midweek.
The only other starter to feature in that game was Joel Ward who played the first-half but he is, as expected, included in the Palace XI, and Yannick Bolasie returns on the bench.
Chelsea have also made one change from their side that beat West Bromwich Albion last weekend, with Gary Cahill replacing the suspended John Terry.
