Alan Pardew has shed some light on Yohan Cabaye's recent heel injury and has declared the central midfielder as '50/50' to feature for Palace away at Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
Cabaye missed the away win over Stoke City on Saturday 19th December through the same injury, having failed a late fitness test, but the problem could now spoil his chances of playing against the Cherries on the 26th.
"We've got additional ones that I'm going to keep in-house for now, but we need to assess them going forward," he said. "We've got two games in quick succession, so it is about the squad."
Asked which players would be fit for the Bournemouth game, the manager replied: "Sako and Gayle, no [they won't be]. Cabaye I think has got a chance - 50/50 - and Jedinak is in the group, yes."
