Wayne Hennessey was pleased with the performances of his back four against Bournemouth today, as the Eagles shut out the home side to take a point from the Vitality Stadium.
Speaking after another clean sheet, Hennessey said he felt that the Eagles stood firm and did enough to earn 0-0 draw.
“I thought they came at us well and pressed us for a lot of the time, but we held strong during the key moments,” said the Wales international.
“The back four were fantastic again today. There were a few of them who got cramp towards the end, so we’ll have to make sure they’re ready to go for the game on Monday.”
Asked whether the Palace defence would be struggling to recover in time for Monday’s game against Swansea City, Hennessey said: “It’s not too hard and I’ll be sure to check on my back four and make sure they’re all okay!”
