Alan Pardew has confirmed that Mile Jedinak, Bakary Sako and Dwight Gayle will all miss tomorrow's home game against Southampton at Selhurst Park.
Skipper Jedinak rolled his ankle during training on Thursday morning, meaning that he will be unavailable for the Saints' visit to SE25 on Saturday, whilst Sako is still sidelined with a hamstring problem and Gayle has suffered a recurrence of the injury that had kept him out of action prior to Monday's trip to Everton.
"We've had an injury, a fresh injury," he said, during his pre-match press conference. "Mile rolled his ankle in training, so he'll miss this game.
"Mile is a legend at this football club. It was important that he got into the team and he did well [on Monday]. He does a certain job that we need at certain times. He would like to play more games, of course, and unfortunately that injuries going to hamper him on that."
Jedinak played the full 90 minutes at Goodison Park, his first Premier League start of the season for the Eagles, whilst Gayle appeared as a second half substitute on the left wing. However both have since sustained injuries, meaning the manager will be forced to make changes for the visit of Ronald Koeman and Co. tomorrow.
"Sako won't be available for this game," he added. "Alex [McCarthy] is returning and I rotate the goalkeepers, because of their standing here at Crystal Palace, so he'll be on the bench tomorrow. And then Jules will be on the bench next week, if there's no injury to the number one.
"We've had some bad news with Gayle, he's had a recurrence of his injury, so he won't be available, but Chamakh's getting closer - so some good news there."
