A stoppage time strike from Connor Dymond helped Palace's development side clinch a 3-3 draw at Swansea City in a thrilling encounter between the top two in the U21 Professional Development League 2 table.
Fisayo Adarabioyo had put Gary Issott's side ahead before a brace from Kenji Gorre helped the Swans to half-time in front. Captain for the night Kyle de Silva then slotted in a penalty but Josh Sheehan had looked to hand the home side a vital win, before Dymond popped up to snatch a point.
Swansea went into the game on the back of a 12-game unbeaten run but Palace weren't bothered by reputation and took the lead just 11 minutes in when Adarabioyo controlled a cross from Sonny Black and tucked the ball past David Cornell.
Despite the setback, James Loveridge fired over the bar from inside the box before the home side restored parity on 35 minutes. The ball came down the left and Gorre, who scored against Palace in the corresponding fixture, beat a defender before firing past David Gregory.
The former Manchester United youngster then managed to put the Swans ahead when his pot-shot from 25 yards managed to squirm its way past Gregory and hand the Welsh side the advantage.
But after the restart just before the hour mark de Silva was felled inside the box by Cornell, and the skipper dusted himself down to find the net from 12 yards.
Chances continued to be created and Henry Jones saw a shot whistle past the right-hand post before
with 10 minutes to play some good work from Jones down the right allowed him to send a cross over for Sheehan who found the net via the woodwork.
In the final minute Adam King shot straight at Gregory when well-placed which allowed Palace to head up the other end, and when a cross was hoisted into the box Dymond rose above the defenders to head the past past Cornell to grab a vital point in the hunt for a play-off place.
