Yannick Bolasie's preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament began well as he scored a stoppage time equaliser to give the Democratic Republic of Congo a 1-1 draw against African heavyweights Cameroon on Wednesday.
The Eagles winger found the net late on to earn his side a decent draw against the four time AFCON champions after Franck Etoundai had handed them a 35th minute lead.
That was Bolasie's third international goal in 10 appearances, having scored twice on his previous appearance to send the Leopards into the finals in Equatorial Guinea, which kicks off next week.
Their campaign starts with an opener against Zambia on Sunday 18th January, before taking on Cape Verde four days later.
They round off the group stage by taking on Tunisia on 26th January, aiming to win their first third title, although their previous two were under the guise of Zaire.
