Alan Pardew has made three changes to the side that beat Dover Athletic last weekend in the FA Cup, with Jason Puncheon, James McArthur and Julian Speroni returning to the Eagles side.
The winger has come in for Wilfried Zaha whereas the Scottish midfielder replaces Stuart O'Keefe in the middle of the park.
Speroni comes in for Wayne Hennessey in goal in he other change from the 4-0 victory last weekend.
That means that Barry Bannan and Glenn Murray retain their places in the side, with Zaha dropping to the bench.
Tottenham meanwhile have made two changes from their last league game - their 5-3 victory against Chelsea last week.
Moussa Dembele comes in for Nabil Bentelab who is on international duty with Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, and Benjamin Stambouli replaces the injured Ryan Mason.
