Loan Round Up

21 October 2015

It was joy again for striker Keshi Anderson, who struck a dramatic 87th minute winner for Doncaster Rovers against his Crystal Palace teammate Sullay Kaikai and Shrewsbury Town.

The Shrews hosted Donny at New Meadow on Tuesday night, with the two Eagles starlets going head-to-head for the first time this season. James Coppinger struck first for the visitors, slotting home from 12 yards after 14 minutes.

It was an action packed first half and the Shrews were soon back in it, with Nathaniel Knight-Percival powering home a header from a corner to level the scores. Both Kaikai and Anderson played the full 90 minutes, but it was the latter who struck the decisive blow, firing high into the net from close range with minutes left to play.

Elsewhere, Hiram Boateng was in action for Plymouth Argyle, playing another full 90 minutes for the League Two side in their 1-0 away defeat to Oxford United.

Jerome Binnom-Williams appeared as a second half substitute for Burton Albion, entering the action on 64 minutes in their 0-0 draw at home to Crewe Alexandra.

In Nottingham, Jonny Williams was an unused substitute during Forest's 1-1 draw with Burnley.

However, Jack Hunt played no part in Sheffield Wednesday's 0-0 draw away to Queens Park Rangers - though ex-Eagle Barry Bannan did feature.

Christian Scales was again omitted from Crawley Town's squad, as they fell to a 3-1 away defeat at Morecambe.
