Powerful central midfielder Hiram Boateng played the full game - and was booked - as Plymouth Argyle secured the three points in a 2-1 win against Wycombe Wanderers. Former Palace and Plymouth forward Jason Banton scored for Wycombe to cancel out Reuben Reid's early opener for Argyle. Jake Jervis bagged the winner, with the score settled just over half an hour into the game.

It was defeat for left-back Christian Scales and Crawley Town away to Mansfield, with the visitors losing 4-0 and finishing the game with ten men after Gwion Edwards' late red card. Scales played for the full 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Ryan Inniss was an unused substitute in Port Vale's 3-2 home win over Wigan Athletic on Saturday, but did feature in their 2-0 defeat to Millwall on Tuesday night, coming on as a half time substitute.

Right-back Jack Hunt played the full 90 minutes for Sheffield Wednesday - and was booked - in their goalless draw away to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday. The home side fielded to former Eagles in left-back Dean Moxey and midfielder Neil Danns, with Stephen Dobbie on the bench, whilst the recently departed Barry Bannan also featured for Wednesday.

Wales international Jonny Williams, who joined up with Nottingham Forest on loan recently, was not in the squad for their 1-0 win away from home against Birmingham City on Tuesday evening, making it back-to-back wins on the road for Dougie Freedman's men.
