Yannick Bolasie was delighted to get back amongst the goals for Palace at Arsenal, having last scored before his long-term injury absence back in November 2015.
"When you've been out for a while you want to get off the mark as quick as you can, but it's not been the case for myself after starting off the season so comfortably," he said after the 1-1 draw in north London.
"Getting the goal today has done me the world of good because I started off pretty slow, to be honest, and I could have been brought off at half time. The gaffer kept his faith in me and had a little word with me at half time.
It was the Eagles first ever point at the Emirates and Bolasie was delighted to finally break that run.
"The last three years that we've played in the Premier League we've always come here and lost," he said. "We've been unlucky [in the past], but today, to get a point - I think that's a great result for us. We could have won it at the end. The three subs that came on helped us."
