Mile Jedinak is expecting a tight affair when Palace meet Watford in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
The two sides have experienced similar form throughout the campaign and have both taken three points off the other in the two Premier League meetings between them this term, making it even tougher to call which way it will go.
"You only have to look back at the last couple of games we've played this season to see that they've been tight affairs, so we're expecting a difficult game," said the skipper. "But, saying that, we need to go in there fully focused - which we will be - and impose ourselves.
Mid-week fixtures have been a regular occurrence in April for Palace, due to Cup rescheduling, so it has given a lot of the squad a chance to get some game time and stake a claim for a starting berth at Wembley, something Jedinak feels has boosted the Eagles' morale.
"With the schedule we've had of late the boys have been together a lot and it's nice to see everybody with smiles on their faces, looking forward to playing and being involved in games," he said.
"Having so many games in such a short period you find that everyone gets some game time and it tends to make everybody a little bit happier and on the back of getting some good results - that also helps."
