Loan Round Up

4 April 2016

Sullay Kaikai scored again for Shrewsbury Town last weekend to make it six goals in his last five games since returning to Shropshire, however it was an unhappy result this time out as the League One side went on to lose 5-1 at the hands of Wigan Athletic.

His close range finish inside the opening half an hour had given Shrewsbury the lead, but they soon unravelled and five minutes later Wigan were level. A sending off for Zak Whitbread and four second half goals from the Latics compounded Shrewsbury's problems as they slipped to 18th in the table.

MK Dons and Jonny Williams suffered defeat in west London as Fulham put some distance between themselves and the visitors in the fight for Championship survival with a 2-1 win at Craven Cottage. Williams had a quiet afternoon and was withdrawn with Milton Keynes a goal behind on 56 minutes.

It was a seventh game unbeaten for Jake Gray and Hartlepool United in League Two as the midfielder completed 81 minutes in their 2-1 win at home to Mansfield Town.

Jerome Binnom-Williams completed the full 90 minutes for Kevin Nolan's Leyton Orient as they drew 1-1 at home to York City. Ex-Eagles Peter Ramage and Jobi McAnuff also played for Orient and the draw kept them eighth in the League Two table.

Hiram Boateng was an unused substitute for Plymouth Argyle's 2-1 Devon derby defeat away to Exeter City on Saturday.
