Alan Pardew has revealed that James McArthur will likely feature for Palace against Manchester United on Wednesday night, having been sidelined for over two and a half months.
McArthur, who had played a key role for the Eagles prior to his injury on 2nd February, could get some minutes under his belt against the Red Devils.
"Like all teams, you need your best players and we've got our best players back [from injury]. And today I've got even more good news because McArthur is going to return for this Man United game," he said during his pre-match press conference.
"He's been a real miss for us; his energy, his experience and his quality, so really good news for us for these remaining four games."
Asked whether McArthur would be in contention for a place in the semi-final, Pardew replied: "If he can come through tomorrow [unscathed], which I think he can, so we'll see."
The manager also confirmed that Yannick Bolasie, Scott Dann, Joel Ward and Joe Ledley would miss the United game, but all should return for the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
"We've just got one or two problems: Yala's got an issue, Wardy will definitely miss the game, Scott Dann is struggling with the injury he picked up at Arsenal and Joe Ledley has got a knock," he said.
"So we've got a few problems. They should all be okay for Sunday, but they're not going to make Man United, those guys."
