Alan Pardew discussed Palace's confidence-boosting win over Norwich City during his pre-Everton press conference, as well as praising the vociferous home support his side have enjoyed, despite a 14 game winless run in the Premier League.
"It gives everybody a lift; you would expect that, we weren't expecting the run to go on that we went on," he said of the Norwich win, which ended Palace's search for three points at the 15th attempt.
"We've still got the FA Semi Final to look forward to and this last programme of league games.
"Hopefully the confidence levels have gone up and our nervousness has disappeared and we saw the game out reasonably well against Norwich which was a pleasing factor."
The manager had praised the Palace fans for their support on Saturday, insisting that the 12th man helped the Eagles over the line against the Canaries.
"If we can create any kind of atmosphere like we did against Norwich that will be great as well," he said.
"Our fans will probably be cheered up a little bit so hopefully we can make them smile again.
"We talk about it, that we have a special fan base, I don't say it lightly, because it's difficult to keep that when we are on a run like we are, but to keep that support when you haven't won for so many games is probably unique and it's that uniqueness that makes it special and you want to reward them.
"Our home form has been not good enough, but our away form for sure has been sound this year so we've got to improve it and we hope to win again tomorrow."
