Team News: Gayle Leads The Line

9 April 2016

Dwight Gayle will be looking to add to his league goal tally this season for Palace, as manager Alan Pardew names the striker in his starting eleven.

The Eagles welcome back Yohan Cabaye into midfield, with a starting place for Bakary Sako who will play out on the wing.

Wilfried Zaha drops to the bench, as does Joe Ledley, with fan favourite Julian Speroni returning to the matchday squad alongside a fit again Connor Wickham.

Norwich City name an unchanged team from the side that beat Newcastle United last weekend at Carrow Road, and will be looking to extend their recent run to a third successive league win.

Ex-Palace loan player Patrick Bamford has a place on the Canaries bench, but there is no place for injured captain Martin Russell who manager Alex Neil was hoping to be fit.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare, Sako, Cabaye, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Gayle. Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Lee Chung-yong, Ledley, Zaha, Wickham, Campbell

Norwich City: Ruddy, Wisdom, Bennett, Klose, Olsson, Jarvis, Howson, O’Neil, Brady, Naismith, Mbokani. Subs: Rudd, Redmond, Bassong, Hoolahan, Mulumbu, Bamford, Jerome.
