Crystal Palace and Valencia fan Tristán White is looking forward to Saturday's friendly at Selhurst Park as both his sides take to the field for the Eagles' first - and only - home pre-season friendly.
White, who grew up in Spain, became a Palace fan when he moved to London in the late 1980s and this will be the first time the CPFC season ticket holder has sat in the away end in SE25.
"I was brought up in Spain, so when I came over here to London in 1989, to go to college, I didn't have an English team and, naturally with so many friends supporting Palace, became quite interested in the team," he said.
"I have been running the Valencia supporters club Penya Guiri since 1999. We've got about 300 fans on our books and some of them I've introduced Palace to."
Kick off is at 3pm on Saturday afternoon and will be Palace's only game in South Norwood before the Premier League opener against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 13th August. As for his plans for the day, Tristán said: "First of all I have to meet up with 33 Valencia fans, somewhere around Crystal Palace.
"Being a friendly I'm not that bothered about the score as long as both teams play well and there are no injuries, that's all that matters. I'm really looking forward to seeing Nani as well!"
