Capacity: 21,977
Address: Vicarage Road, Watford, WD18 0ER

Getting there

By Car:
From the South – Join the M25 and follow until Junction 18. Exit via the slip road, which goes up to a bridge going across the motorway, then turn left towards Rickmansworth. Head down into Rickmansworth until you arrive at a large roundabout near Rickmansworth BR station. Turn left here along the A412 towards Watford. Follow signs into Croxley Green. Continue straight over at the two roundabouts past Croxley, then take the fifth right exit on to Harwood Road. Continue straight down, heading straight over the traffic lights, until you come to the end of the road. At the end turn left and you will now be on Vicarage Road, continue for a few hundred metres and you will see the ground on your right hand side.

There is no parking available for fans at the ground and street parking is restricted for local residents with matchday permits. Watford town centre has several car parks, the easiest of which for access to Vicarage Road is Church Car Park on the inside of the ring-road, opposite the turn-off into Vicarage Road. All town centre car parks are within a 10-minute walk of Vicarage Road. There is also additional car parking in the Town Centre at Royalty House (on King Street, just off the High Street). Other possibilities are Watford Grammar School for Girls, Cassiobury Park Avenue, and Fishers Industrial Estate off Wiggenhall Road.

By Train:
The nearest station is Watford High Street, a 10-minute walk away from the ground.

Watford FC would like to provide the following information to assist Palace fans attending the match.

Stadium Entry

We have a new away turnstile block in operation at Vicarage Road. The turnstiles are in a different position to last season and are now positioned further along the back of the Vicarage Road Stand. Turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off. In order to meet our security obligations, we advise that you arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any potential delays.

Supporter Meeting Point

The officially designated ‘away’ pub is The Oddfellows, 14 Fearnley Street, WD18 0RD.

Visiting Disabled Supporter Access

Disabled supporters should aim for the ‘Vicarage Roadie’ Information Point next to the Hornets Shop. Supporters should then approach Watford’s ‘Vicarage Roadies’ match day meet and greet team, who are dressed in bright green hi-vis jackets and will be stationed outside the stadium from 10.30am onwards on the day. The ‘Roadies’ team will be happy to escort supporters to the appropriate accessible entrances and on to the away sections of the stadium.

We strongly advise those supporters using wheelchairs using pitchside wheelchair positions and their personal assistants to arrive no later than 45 minutes before kick-off to avoid any delays, as entry is through another stand and may take some time.

Commentary for supporters with visual impairments

Watford FC has a number of ‘Soccer Sight’ headsets which allow visually impaired supporters, including those in the visitors section, to hear an audio commentary provided by volunteers from the Watford Hospital Radio team. Supporters are asked to email or call our ticket office hotline on 01923 223023 with their name and seat number to order a headset, which will be delivered to their seat before kick-off and collected at the end of the match.

Away Section Concourse

We have additional facilities which recently opened.
