Alan Pardew has praised new signing Emmanuel Adebayor, calling him one of the highest calibre players to join Palace and hailing the positive impact he has had on the atmosphere inside the Eagles' dressing room.
The manager has been pleased by the Togolese contributions in training so far and has revealed that he will likely feature against Bournemouth tomorrow night.
"It's fantastic for the football club. He's really trained hard and well this week," said Pardew. "His quality, his contributions to training and his presence [have lifted the dressing room]. It's hard to put your finger on it.
"He looks terrific," he added.
Adebayor was also compared to club legend Mark Bright by Pardew, who played with the former Eagles striker.
"If I was a Palace fan I'd be absolutely overjoyed because if we get him anywhere near his best this player is of a level above most players to have ever played for this football club," he said. "You could argue that Brighty was our best striker and he can't even lace Ade's boots!"
