Team News: Two Changes For Palace

12 January 2016

Bakary Sako and James McArthur return to the Crystal Palace side for tonight's game against Aston Villa.

The duo missed out on Alan Pardew's starting line-up for the FA Cup win at Southampton three days ago, but both come in for the Eagles tonight with McArthur shaking off a slight knock to do so.

They take the place of Fraizer Campbell and Jordon Mutch who drop to the bench, where they are joined by Connor Wickham who is fit again after a hamstring injury.

Remi Garde meanwhile has made wholesale changes to his team for tonight's game, with Mark Bunn keeping his place in goal from Saturday's FA Cup draw against Wycombe Wanderers ahead of Brad Guzan.

Aly Cissokho and Joleon Lescott return in defence with skipper Micah Richards struggling with a foot injury, with Jordan Veretout is preferred to Kieran Richardson.

Jordan Ayew and Libor Kozak are also handed starts with former Eagle Scott Sinclair and Rudy Gestede demoted to the bench.

Aston Villa: Bunn, Cissokho, Okore, Lescott, Bacuna, Westwood, Veretout, Gueye, Gil, Ayew, Kozak. Subs: Guzan, Richards, Clark, Richardson, Sinclair, Lydon, Gestede.

Palace: Hennessey, Souare, Dann, Delaney, Ward, Ledley, Cabaye, McArthur, Zaha, Puncheon, Sako. Subs: Speroni, Hangeland, Jedinak, Mutch, Campbell, Chamakh, Wickham.
