Team News: Hennessey Makes Royals Return

11 March 2016

Wayne Hennessey returns in goal for Crystal Palace's FA Cup quarter-final against Reading this evening.

The Welsh keeper is the Eagles' only change from Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League, replacing Alex McCarthy who drops to the bench.

Also included among the substitutes is Jason Puncheon who has recovered from a torn hamstring and could feature this evening.

Reading meanwhile have made seven alterations from the line-up that lost 3-1 to Huddersfield Town in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

As expected, Hal Robson-Kanu and Paul McShane return after being rested, replacing Gareth McCleary and Danny Williams.

Oliver Norwood and Simon Cox replace the cup-tied George Evans and Yann Kermorgant, and Stephen Quinn, Jordan Obita and Ola John are preferred to Deniss Rakels, Lucas Piazon and Anthony Taylor.

Reading: Al-Habsi, Gunter, McShane, Cooper, Obita, Robson-Kanu, Hector, Norwood, Quinn, John, Cox. Subs: Bond, Ferdinand, Williams, McCleary, Piazon, Rakels, Vydra.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare, Zaha, Cabaye, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Adebayor. Subs: McCarthy, Kelly, Puncheon, Mutch, Sako, Campbell, Gayle.
