Team News: Palace Make Enforced Changes

6 March 2016

Palace have been forced into making two changes to the team's usual starting 11 for today's game against Liverpool, with the injured Wayne Hennessey and Connor Wickham replaced by Alex McCarthy and striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Eagles can however welcome back Pape Souare who returns to the line-up following his suspension, and Alan Pardew gives Yannick Bolasie his second start in a week where the manager will be hoping both Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha give the Liverpool backline something to think about.

Joel Ledley comes in for Jordan Mutch in midfield, and Souare replaces Martin Kelly at left back.

Liverpool meanwhile have made two defensive changes from their 3-0 win against Manchester City, with Mamadou Sakho recovering from a head injury to replace Kolo Toure, and Alberto Moreno coming in for ex-Eagle Nathaniel Clyne.

England striker Daniel Sturridge is also back on the bench after being rested in midweek.

Palace: McCarthy, Ward, Delaney, Dann, Souare, Zaha, Cabaye, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Adebayor. Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Mutch, Lee, Sako, Gayle, Chamakh.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Moreno, Lovren, Sakho, Flanagan, Henderson, Can, Milner, Lallana, Firmino, Origi. Subs: Ward, Clyne, Toure, Allen, Coutinho, Benteke, Sturridge.
