Full List Of Palace's International Call-Ups

24 May 2016

Despite the end of the domestic season, it will be a busy summer for 10 members of the Palace squad who have been called up for international action over the coming weeks.

While Yohan Cabaye is setting his sights on Euro 2016, with Wayne Hennessey, Joe Ledley and Jonny Williams also hoping to join him in France, the Eagles will also be represented at the Copa America for the second summer in a row as Adrian Mariappa heads to the USA with Jamaica.

Away from the summer’s tournaments there is plenty more matches to interest Palace fans, including the potential of a club record breaking as Mile Jedinak prepares himself to win his 34th cap for Australia during his time in SE25 and become the club’s all-time highest caps holder when the Aussies do battle with England on Friday night, before the Socceroos skipper heads back to his homeland for a pair of friendlies against Greece.

James McArthur won’t be heading to the Euros but Scotland will take on two of the continent’s biggest names in the form of Italy and France, and over in Africa there are some big games for three Eagles aiming to get their countries into the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Souare’s Senegal could clinch an automatic berth to the tournament in Gabon next year should they beat Burundi, whereas Togo will be hoping to leapfrog group leaders Liberia helped by the goals of their talisman Adebayor. Meanwhile Sako travels with the Mali squad to South Sudan trying to remain top of the group before the final round of qualifiers in September.

There will be no international action for Yannick Bolasie though as he has been left out of the DR Congo’s squads for their next few matches as he is getting married, and Chung-yong Lee has not been included for South Korea.
