The sixth annual Beer Festival takes place between 12 midday and 7pm in the Holmesdale Road stand on Saturday and we are delighted to be welcoming cup final goalscorer, Jason Puncheon. He will be in the Red and Blue Bar at 3pm and then available for autographs and photographs as you get the chance to meet one of our own right here in SE25.
There are 32 local breweries featured this year (30 of which are in London) which is up from 19 last year. The breweries that join us for the first time are :-
Bexley Brewery, Earth Ales, Hammerton Brewery,Hop Stuff, Southwark Brewing Co, Volden, Beavertown, Brew by Numbers, Fourpure, Mondo Brewing Company,Partizan, The Kernel, Uprising
The last seven on the list are providing Craft Keg beers for the first time here to complement our huge range of cask conditioned ales. The 19 returning local breweries include our friends The Cronx from Croydon and the brewers of last year’s “Beer of the Festival” Gipsy Hill. All the local beers will be grouped together in the Lower Holmesdale concourse with beers from further afield offered in the Upper Concourse and the Red and Blue bars.
Altogether we have beers from 83 different breweries, and also 40 cider producers, presenting well over 200 ales and ciders for your enjoyment.
Food outlets will be open and we also have the hugely popular Goddard’s Pie and Mash Shop offering locally produced quality pies.
Entertainment this year is provided by DJ’s, Leech, Birddog Blues, Kocoa Brown, and the magnificent South London Jazz Orchestra and, by popular demand, the brilliant South London ska band - The Dualers.
The Championship Play-Off Final will be shown on the screens as well as the pick of the day's sporting action.
Tickets are just £10 in advance or £15 on the day and every attendee will get a commemorative CPFC Beer Festival glass.
