Team News: Gayle In For Jedinak

7 May 2016

Dwight Gayle starts in place of Mile Jedinak, and is the only change to Palace’s starting eleven who played against Newcastle United last week.

There are however several alterations on the bench, as Pardew brings Julian Speroni, Jordan Mutch and Fraizer Campbell back into the fold.

Doubts about Yannick Bolasie missing the game through illness have gone unfounded, but as the manager confirmed in this week’s press conference, Wilfried Zaha doesn’t feature in the matchday squad due to a slight injury.

Stoke City are unchanged from the side who drew with Sunderland last weekend, as manager Mark Hughes looks to use the result to draw a line under a run which saw his team lose three games on the bounce.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare, Bolasie, Puncheon, Cabaye, McArthur, Gayle, Wickham. Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Ledley, Sako, Mutch, Campbell, Adebayor.

Stoke City: Haugaard, Bardsley, Shawcross, Cameron, Pieters, Whelan, Adam, Shaqiri, Imbula, Arnautovic, Crouch. Subs: Bachmann, Wollscheid, Ireland, Bojan, Walters, Diouf, Joselu.
