Alan Pardew has confirmed that Scott Dann will miss Palace's home game against West Ham United on Saturday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury which has seen him miss the last two Premier League outings.
The skipper was absent for the fightback away to Sunderland and the 1-1 draw with Everton the following week, but the manager revealed that he should be available for selection for the trip to Premier League champions Leicester City having worked on his recovery over the international break.
"Scott Dann won't make this game, but he is training," said Pardew. "So he should be available for the next one, we think. Other than that we're okay."
Pardew also gave updates on long-term absentees Pape Soure and Loic Remy, insisting that the original prognoses were accurate.
"He's on a long recovery time," he added on Souare. "He's just in that process really."
"We still think the November, December period - the back-end of November we should see him (Remy) and he's progressing well."
