Palace legends Andrew Johnson and John Salako will be at Old Whitgiftian Sports Club on Sunday 9th October as part of the festivities surrounding a charity football match organised by the Mayor of Croydon, Wayne Trakas-Lawlor.
Two teams made up of local Conservative and Labour MPs will go head to head to raise money for The British Home, Croydon Commitment and Stanley Halls in South Norwood in what should be a fun-filled afternoon, with Salako overseeing the match as its referee and AJ on hand to present the post-match awards.
The match kicks-off at 2.30pm with gates opening at 1pm, and the club house will be accessible to all from that time, serving refreshments. The Old Whitgiftian Sports Club is situated on Croham Manor Road in Croydon (CR2 7BG).
