"Leicester had an unbelievable season and now they are attacking Champions League football," he said. "With that their league form has dipped a little bit.
"They have a great standard of players there and we have great respect for them. They won the league because of the character in the dressing room and that will come through.I think they will finish in the top eight but they are a team we want to try and challenge although we have got a long to go before we can prove this year that we are better than them.
"More importantly it is about us. We come off a disappointing performance against West Ham, particularly the first half where we didn’t dictate the game as I would of liked. I have spoken to the group about the way we started the game and I hope that doesn’t happen again.
"I want my team to respond and we need to turn up for this one. We were very close to getting something their last year against them in both games but because of the season they had last year they edged both and you have to admire them for that but now we need to look at doing the same."
