By car:
Take the M6 and turn off at Junction 21A onto the M62 and then take Junction 6 onto the M57. Then two junctions later turn off onto the A580, turning left onto Walton Hall Avenue for the ground.

If you arrive early (around 10am-1pm) then there is street parking to be found around Walton Lane. Otherwise park over towards Anfield or in Stanley Park itself (the entrance to the car park, which costs £8, is in Priory Road).  Walton Lifestyles Sports Centre (L4 9XP) is also another popular parking spot for around £5.

By train:
Lime Street Railway Station is in the town centre, two miles from Goodison Park. Trains go from Liverpool Central Station (a short walk from Lime Street station) to Kirkdale which is a 10 minute walk from the ground. The are several buses from the city centre to within walking distance of the ground. (17, 217 from Stand L outside Lime Street Station)

Did You Know...
Everton were the first club to have a scoreboard installed in England. On 20 November 1971 Everton beat Southampton 8–0 with Joe Royle scoring four, David Johnson three and Alan Ball one. With the score being so high the scoreboard did not have enough room to display the goal scorer's names and simply read "7 9 7 9 8 9 9 7" as it displayed the goal scorers' shirt numbers instead.
