"This is a really difficult one to call as both teams are on great runs and I still think Palace need a bit more to be definitely out of trouble but have no doubt they will get that. As for Spurs they are on an unbelievable run and they will look at this one as a game they have to win if they are going to catch Chelsea.
"A night game at Selhurst has an atmosphere that no one else can match, the home fans will be like a 12thman for Palace as the place will be rocking and if Spurs are not quite on it then it will seem like a 13thman."
The former Palace player and coach has admired how the Eagles boss has made the changes needed at Selhurst since the turn of the year and he can see recent results have proved he was right with what was needed.
"Sam Allardyce has signed a couple of players in key areas and he would have seen that he would have had players who could win him games of football but he needed lads in to stop goals going in at the other end first. He would of seen that if he could shore it up at the back then he has match winners around the pitch to win him points and so it has proved."
