Benteke Scores Ten For The Eagles

4 April 2017

After scoring the winning goal at Chelsea on Saturday, Christian Benteke has now hit double figures in the Premier League, the first Eagle to score 10 goals in the top flight in 12 years.

You have to go back to Andrew Johnson’s top-flight goal number in 2004/05 for the last time an Eagle managed to reach 10 or more goals in the division, with the Bedford born striker netting 21 times in his only season at this level for the club.

Benteke is only the third Palace player to get to that total for a season in Premier League history, with Chris Armstrong the other person achieving the feat back in 1992/93 when he bagged 15 times in another campaign.

Watch the ten goals that he has scored below.
