Race Day Is A Winner At Lingfield

21 April 2017

The spectacular views of the Surrey countryside as the sun set at Lingfield Park was the perfect location for the club's first afternoon/evening club's Race Day last Thursday as sponsors, players and management came together for a superb card of flat racing.

Manager Sam Allardyce and Sammy Lee as well as members of the first team squad mingled with the assembled guests, enjoyed superb hospitality and some first class racing.

A number of companies who are part of the Crystal Palace FC corporate family through the year sponsored the races and were welcomed to the course briefed on the day’s card by in house tipster, Steve Watts.

Race sponsors had the opportunity to choose the best dressed horse in the parade circle for their race and present the prizes to the winning jockeys.

The club would like to thank each and every company who supported this event in the Executive Boxes and sponsoring races to help make it such a successful occasion and hopefully they enjoyed the superb atmosphere on the terrace of the Eclipse Suite as guests watched the racing action in the late evening sunshine.

All proceeds from the day go towards the Palace Youth Academy, and the club extend their appreciation to the management and staff of Lingfield Park Race Course for their help in making the event that extra special.
