Team News: Kelly To Take On Saints

5 April 2017

Sam Allardyce has been forced to make one change to his Crystal Palace line-up for tonight’s game at Southampton, with Martin Kelly replacing the injured James Tomkins.

The summer signing had to be taken off at half-time in the win against Chelsea five days ago with a calf issue so Kelly takes his place at St Mary’s, but there is slightly better news for the Eagles boss in that
Mathieu Flamini returns to the matchday squad amongst the substitutes.

Claude Puel meanwhile has made two changes to the team that drew 0-0 with Bournemouth last Saturday, with Shane Long replacing Jay Rodriguez up front, and Ryan Bertrand missing out with Sam McQueen taking his place at left-back.

Southampton: Forster, Soares, Stephens, Yoshida, McQueen, Davis, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Redmond, Long. Subs: Hassen, Pied, Caceres, Clasie, Sims, Hojbjerg, Rodriguez.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Sakho, Kelly, Schlupp, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Zaha, Puncheon, Townsend, C. Benteke. Subs: Speroni, Fryers, Delaney, Flamini, Lee, Kaikai, Sako.
