Crystal Palace have made two alterations to their starting line-up for this evening’s encounter with Burnley, with Damien Delaney and Patrick van Aanholt recalled to the side as Sam Allardyce tinkers with his defence.
The Irishman replaces the injured Mamadou Sakho at the heart of defence for his first start since February, whereas Van Aanholt is preferred to Jeffey Schlupp after losing his place in the side following his injury against West Bromwich Albion in March.
There is welcome relief for Allardyce in the form of his bench, with Chung-yong Lee and Loic Remy returning to the squad, but Yohan Cabaye misses out.
Burnley meanwhile have made four alterations to their side that lost to Manchester United, with Ben Mee missing out of the matchday squad and replaced by James Tarkowski, while the suspended Joey Barton’s place is filled by Ashley Westwood.
Club record signing Robbie Brady and top scorer Andre Gray are also benched, with Scott Arfield and Ashley Barnes preferred.
